Summer Warning for Your Laptop

In hot summer, the hot temperature and harsh environment require special attention to your laptop, even the accessory like the laptop AC adapter, Battery or so. Mainly, these should not be ignored.

SWEAT Â We all know that high temperature easily produce large amounts of sweat and grease. If the notebook computer often absorbs too much swear by our hands. This area most affected is the cheap plastic shell. For some high-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy shell, there is less effects. This depends on the plastic materials, and how flexible plastic is not only a good, beneficial to complex mold shape, there are structural advantages of solid wear. However, poor corrosion resistance is a common problem of all plastic products. Sweat and grease on the plastic corrosion can make our notebook color uneven and ugly. The solution is simple that we should regularly use alcohol of high concentration to wipe the laptop shell and the keyboard..

HIGH TEMPERATURE  Usually, our laptop battery is made of lithium-ion. High temperature is a disaster of the battery. Theoretically, lithium-ion battery should be 0 ° C to 45 ° C for charging condition, and -20 ° C to 60 ° C temperature for discharge. We know that the summer high temperature has a great influence on the activity of lithium-ion. as I used to have some Sony laptop battery such as Sony PCGA-BP1N battery, Sony PCGA-BP2NX battery, Sony PCGA-BP2NY battery, Sony PCGA-BP2R battery, Sony PCGA-BP2S battery, Sony PCGA-BP2T battery, Sony PCGA-BP2V battery and Sony PCGA-BP4V battery, it used for half an year in Hainan(it’s always over 30°C). Lithium-ion battery performance will deteriorate in high temperature environment. If you frequently charge, discharge, battery life will decrease. Therefore, we should pay attention to the environmental temperature of notebook computers. Then when we need to use in high temperature environment,   try to use the laptop AC adapter for the power supply. This will reduce the bad impact of the lithium battery.
