HP sets up repair centres

Hewlett-Packard Personal Systems Group the world’s leading personal computer manufacturer and a leader in innovative technology launched HP Rapid Repair Centres for Notebook consumers.

This service will be available at 3 HP Authorised Service Delivery Partners in Colombo and will be extended to regional cities in Sri Lanka in the near future, the company said.

The new initiative will enable HP’s customers to enjoy world class HP service at no extra cost.

The rapid service centres will enable customers of selected HP Notebook models to exchange or get the relevant part repaired within 24 hours.

“Customers are clearly asking for more choices when purchasing Notebooks.They need to get a total consumer experience combining a world class product supported by exceptional after sales services,” said Lackshmindra Fernando, Country Manager Sri Lanka, HP Personal Systems Group.

HP “Rapid Repair Centres” will offer customers of Pavilion DV4 and DV6 models the facility to get parts repaired or replaced within a short period of 2 hours. Parts such as the battery, adapter like HP Compaq 2210b Adapter, HP nc8430 Adapter, HP nx6110 Adapter, HP tc1100 Adapter, HP G3000 Adapter, HP HDX X16 Adapter, HP HDX X18 Adapter, HP Pavilion dv1000 Adapter, HP Pavilion dv2000 Adapter, HP Pavilion zt1000 Adapter, DVD Rom and Keyboard can be replaced through this service.
